Recommendations before flying from Madrid Airport
Getting to the airport in time
If your flight is international, it is recommended to arrive at least 3 hours before the flight departing time, or 2 hours if you have a domestic flight. Depending on the schedule and the situation of the moment (traffic jams, accidents, peak hours) take the precaution of leaving with enough time in advance.
In case you have a very early morning flight and do not live in Madrid, you can choose to stay in a hotel near the airport or even within the airport in the Air Rooms of Terminal 4.
Do not forget to bring your valid passport or ID, visa (if necessary), booking code or boarding pass (if you already have done the Web Check In), travel insurance and your mobile.
Passengers with special needs
If you are a passenger with reduced mobility or a passenger with special needs (elderly, pregnant women, minors alone) coordinate with the airline at least 48 hours before the flight.
Be sure to check the baggage restrictions, weight limits, prohibited items, with your airline through its official website, social networks or contact phones.
